Renewal of Seasons

Obviously, the flame had tapered off, and nothing was holding this chemistry that we once fit together. Like everything, the season ended abruptly, and the summer equinox was a defining moment that indicated we should say goodbye.

Summer bliss reminds us of all the colorful horizons we imagined while basking in front of the fireplace on a winter’s day. The zest of optimism flourished as we held hands, but the fragmentations of lies started to creep up, and frost-bites emerged like wolves in the alpines.

There are two kinds of people, those who do work and those who take the credit for mediocracy.

So, fortunately, life is about improving, striving for the best, challenging yourself to the utmost, and never settling for just anything. And once you realize these traits, it is challenging to mingle with those with no little ambition.

Someone wise once told me; that be mindful of the person I marry because it may be a jackpot or bankruptcy; some people strive to excel, push and propel to great achievements, while some are content with the little to nothing that they have. It’s not eluding to monetary, but more so someone’s determination, passion, tenacity, and conviction to succeed in all areas of their lives.

Vivacious like the peacock and poignant vehement like the intensity of a lion that meets its predator; that is how one must strive to achieve their goals; because too many eyes are looking; particularly the legacy you are planning to leave behind.

Many things come and go, but we can remain friends at a distance; one must stay clear from incompetent, lazy, complacent individuals; unfortunately, they can rub off their residue, it is a contagion, and I am ready to get to be a recipient.

Be mindful in listening to the pour of rainfalls, raindrops of jealousy, back-ended compliments, inactions, a lot of talk, but no support actions; it predicts where a person fits in your life.

This life journey is colorful; move quietly and steadily while everyone is sleeping because success is satisfying when no one knows that you are working; always give them the illusion that you are not up for anything. So, when your harvest is ready, you can enjoy it plentifully with those who celebrated, cheered, supported and saw the sacrifice you put in to see today’s results.

Preserve your energy and replenish your soul; seasonally.
