A Humble Rise

An outpour of love
is saturated with
authenticity and light

Anticipation is phenomenally
sensational like the height of
the mountain

Rainfall gliding with an abundance
without any disturbance

Your lips move like the ocean
that uplifts onto the surface
of the pristine blue waters

Seas are so beautiful that is
reminiscent of your soul

Trees so evergreen that
it only grows lusciousness
to overflow the earth that
holds its bounds

Waves gushing like the
whispers at night

Leaving you speechless
and pulls on you like
sweet honeydew

An ever-essence that
captivates the gifted
in the places that can
be laid on the bosom
of the Amazon

Dancing like the waves
of the ocean and never
skipping a beat

Heart beating while
chasing to its glory
with wind whispering
in the background

Time is now
and never losing sight
but humbly agreeing
to the assignment

Healing with the shine
of glee of the ancestors

Grateful and humbly
righteous at the foot
of the ancestors, by
saying yes.

Thank you for opening
and continuing to floodgate
the avenues of opportunities–

There were times when prayers
felt it was not heard, but one
can say–the prayers were recorded-
but manifested of its own accord–

Patience is a virtue, but
at times, hail marys’ are
needed with a rampant response–

That is the gloriousness of the spirit
that one must lean on, humble themselves
and cleave to the chest of patience–

There is not enough thank you, one can
express, but one can indeed say, I love you
more than words and things–one might
have had a first love, but nothing comes
close to you–grandma

Thank you, I love you!
