Dear Unscrupulous one

A souls’ epiphany
arouse in midst
of it all

Saying goodbye
was weathered
with mixed emotions

But the departure
was worth it all

Realizing we were
not meant to be

It felt refreshing
to see the end,
to something
that never had
a beginning

A celebratory
moment for
my ancestors’
in honoring their
wisdom

Every moment
sweeping by,
solidified the
logical reasoning

Smiling all away
to the ocean
and dazing in the
midst of sun
beaming in one
direction

Not disillusioned
by the fantasies
and fallacies of
self-perception

The originator
and authentic
in all its essence

Ones’ presence
is rested in the
bosom of peripheral
alchemy

Never underestimate
ones’ ability to cipher
bullshit or inflated security
while sleeping in insecurity

A destiny is favorable
to those who pay attention
and it gives me much
the pleasure of saying goodbye

A dear john was in order,
nearly two months in–
and delayed the postal
delivery for the sake of liking and
thinking things might change–

But the delivery has reached
your door today, and there’s
no turning back–

No feelings of regret, but
a sincere farewell,
enjoyed the waves of laughter,
intimate encounters, but
your deceitful, salacious and
unscrupulous ways,
left one with no other option–

May you find one that
entertain your ways on
the strip–
