Your existence is
repugnant in nature.
Playing mind games as
though you were outsmarting
someone– but not
realizing you are the
only person playing the game
Expressing cowardice
through one’s gait,
speech, and vocalization
Disentangled by
the fury of foolishness
but lucid and avidly
astute
Laughing at the
debacle of
stupidity
a complete
miscarriage
to one’s intelligence
Had high hopes,
but never count
your chickens
so fast
Disenchanted by
the flurry of
the inconceivable
reprisal
Your attempts to manifest
through prayer beads,
lighting candles, and saying several
Hail Marys have failed,
resulting in your demise.
Cultivating the
nuisance of
hypnosis
and holding
steadfast on
wisdom of ancestral
protection
As one takes leaps
and bounds to squander
one’s goal, but nevertheless
the streak of the blessed
will never plunder to the helms of
despotic insecurities
Solely resonating on
the optimism of the
rebellious streak
Egregiously disappointing
when one had access,
but gains no entry any longer
Where a welcome sign was
held with warmth and love,
but has turned to disgust,
repulsiveness and agonizing
dislike–
Coming to the realization
that your admiration for someone
or something is not returned
can be a profound and
transformative experience.
Although it may be challenging
to come to terms with, it can also
provide a fresh understanding and outlook.
Everything comes out in
the wash, which is plenty–
Always keep in mind,
the room temperature
and acting accordingly,
never leaving room to
spare confusion
One should never
underestimate
one’s cognitive acuity
It is vital to keep in mind
that life is comparable to a
game of chess, not checkers.
Do not deceive yourself
about your level of intelligence.
