A Rebirth in Light

The days fold like petals, soft and near,
whispers of a birthday drawing are ever clear
in this sacred space, where moments align,
I stand at the edge of time—claiming what’s mine

Forgiveness flows like rivers from my soul,
a release, a reckoning, a becoming whole
each burden unshackled, each wound set free,
the chains I wore were never meant for me

Forgiveness is the key, a door thrown wide,
inviting love to step inside
not love with condition, not love with demand,
but love like ocean waves washing over the sand

It’s the love of the self, tender and kind,
the love that heals the cracks in the mind
it whispers: “You are worthy; you are enough.”
through storm and silence, through smooth and rough

Oh, beauty—how gently you weave through it all,
in the rise from every stumble, every fall
you bloom in laughter that follows the rain,
in the glow that lingers after pain

Beauty is a song in the heart that stays,
a mirror reflecting life’s intricate maze
it’s in every scar, every tear, every smile,
and the way we keep dancing, mile after mile

This birthday—days away, yet I already see—
A rebirth awaiting, calling to me
For every year is a gift, every breath a chance,
To forgive, to love, to sing, to dance

So, I celebrate not just a date on a line,
but the essence of life, so wholly divine
I toast to forgiveness that frees the soul,
to love that makes broken things whole

To the beauty that shines through shadow and fight,
to the power of becoming—a rebirth in light
and as my birthday dawns, I welcome its start,
with open arms and an open heart

For life is a dance between now and forever,
and love, forgiveness, and beauty—our most significant endeavor

With love that radiates and joy that stays,
I step into my New Year, days away
a celebration not just for me—but for all,
for in each of us, the universe stands tall

This is my song, my offering, my vow,
to live in the present, here and now
to forgive without fear, to love without end,
and to see every soul as a lifelong friend

May we rise, may we heal, may we always stay true—
to the beauty within me and the beauty in you–
