The Yes That Echoes Eternity

I stood at the edge of the unknown,
where whispers of fear carved cracks in my soul
the familiar clung to me like chains of stone,
yet something within yearned to be whole

A voice called out, soft yet profound,
a melody of destiny’s sacred sound
“Step forward,” it said, “though shadows loom,
for faith is the spark that ignites the bloom”

My heart, a drumbeat of doubt and desire,
wrestled the flames of an inner fire
could I leap into a sky so vast,
not knowing if wings would carry me past?

But the stars do not doubt their right to glow,
nor rivers their purpose to endlessly flow
I am no less than the sun or the sea,
a vessel of dreams, divinely free

So I whispered, “Yes,” though my voice shook,
a single word that rewrote the book
fear stood beside me, but faith took my hand,
guiding my steps to the promised land

With each stride, the horizon expanded,
the weight of “what ifs” gently disbanded
for the unknown is not the void we dread,
but the cradle of all that lies ahead

Now I soar, unshackled and bold,
a story of courage waiting to be told
the leap was not the end, but the start,
of living a life aligned with my heart

So when you stand where I once stood,
at the brink of doubt and misunderstanding,
know that faith is your eternal tether—
say “Yes,” and step into forever–
