The Sacred Simplicity

In the hush of dawn, when the world is still,
a single breath can the heart fulfill
the sun’s first kiss on the dewy ground,
a quiet magic, softly profound

A steaming cup held in weary hands,
the warmth of life it gently commands
the way light dances on a weathered page,
a fleeting grace that escapes the age

The rustle of leaves in the evening breeze,
a whispered hymn from the ancient trees
the laughter of children, wild and free,
echoes of joy, a melody

The clasp of a hand, a gaze held tight,
a silent promise in the fading light
the scent of rain on the thirsty earth,
a fragrant song of renewal’s birth

These moments, small yet vast as the sky,
hold truths no riches could ever buy
for in the simple, the sacred resides,
where love and wonder forever abide

So cherish the now, the here, the near,
the tender touch, the falling tear
for life’s great power, its most resonant art,
it is found in the simplest moments of the heart—-
