As dawn cascades, its
way into the shadows
of the sun

Your love takes
a new form of
delight and mystery

The mahogany entices
every inch of the
corridors of your
lips

Like the dewiness
mesmerizing and piercing
the chance to take one whimsical leap of chance

Swept in the cushion
of the nautical rise
and simply allowing
the vulnerability enchants
this testimonial moment
of time

There is nothing
like yesterday
and sure cannot
be replicated for
the unknown

Etched in time
like our first kiss
or first glance

What a chance
to take a stance
At something
purely made by
happenstance

As the pebbles
roll through
the sand of
life

Without understanding
the transformation
making its way

While love is taking
shape and the ship
