Love Is in the Air

Love is in the air,
and as the leaves
change moods,
So does our love.

Not fading.
Not leaving.
Not losing its color.

Transforming.

What was once
summer-bright
now becomes
autumn-rich,

softer at the edges,
deeper in the center,
golden where the heart
has learned
to stay.

There is something
about fall
that makes love
more honest.

The air cools,
and suddenly
closeness feels
like a language.

The trees release
what no longer belongs,
and still,
They remain beautiful.

Maybe love
is learning
how to do the same.

To let go
without losing warmth.

To change
without becoming distant.

To deepen
without needing
to be loud.

As the leaves turn
copper, amber,
honey, and flame,
I feel us turning too,

not away
from each other,

but inward,
toward something
more tender,
more intentional,
more real.

Love is in the air,

in the crisp breath
of evening,

in the quiet pull
toward home,

in the way
two hearts
can stand
at the edge
of a new season
and still choose
to soften.

So let autumn
dress us slowly.

Let the wind
teach us patience.

Let the leaves
show us
how sacred it is
to change
with grace.

And let our love
be like the season:

beautiful in transition,
warm in the turning,
and brave enough
to become
something deeper–
